Our visas have been issued - all three of them!! We are eternally grateful to the anonymous guy there who has worked with us through this process. He was laughing along with Clint when they figured out that what we sent would work, and he told us excitedly to go get our kid!
Another thank you to the lady at fedex who has personally watched over all of the packages we have going back and forth as a result of their first mess up. She has been great! Now we are just praying that fedex gets the last package here in the morning....
I can't believe how hard satan has been working against us, but guess what...our God is bigger!! :)
On another happy note, we all went to see Mary Poppins at the Kennedy Center with my mom last night. She had purchased these great tickets for all of us some time ago when we were planning on being here for a quick vacation. It just so happened that the timing worked out for us to go on this trip, and it was such a nice diversion for us in the midst of the craziness. What a great show!! We'll be packing the rest of the day, and then dinner with my whole family (yea, get to see Meaghan!) - all in all, a much better day than yesterday!

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that the house is still standing. Praise the Lord! :P We (Ally, Natasha and I) are so happy to know that your visa's got approved such good news. I personally hope that Clint gets his glasses on time too. Bryan was nice :) We loaded up on paint tonight and the exciting adventure begins bright and early manana. (Ally said to say that) Afterwards we went swimming, so much fun-we made a whirl pool and played with the toys that were left in the pool! So that Matt knows his shower got good use tonight, we all showered together (in our bathing suits, of course)Hahaha! :D Um, What else Ally helped me finally completely discover how to use the TV (Dish network is definitely not for me :P) To top the night off we had a nice cold chocolate bowl of ice cream and now we are all going to share your bed together tonight! :D

ReplyDeleteMary Poppins sounds like a great time! You are lucky as usually Murphy's Law rules this process and you have to travel when you have already purchased tickets for things like this! So, I'm sure your luck will hold and all will fall into place. Though it never is without its stresses. Safe and smooth travels! We look forward to meeting you there (if we get there as it looks like they delayed our departure by another week now...).
