Weird

There are moments along this adoption journey where you realize just how surreal things are. Today is one of those days. I know this is probably random, but I can't get over how crazy it is that a 100 page document about our family is written in RUSSIAN...as in I couldn't even read it if I wanted to...and is being read by a foreign government. Sure hope the translators weren't feeling too crazy that day....  :)

    Just wait until you are standing in court in front of a judge having someone "speak" for you. Truly having no idea if they are translating what you are saying or even if it translates the way you MEAN it. Now that is a weird moment! I hope you are in a Kazakh court room sooner than later.

    I can't imagine - how truly bizarre!! Never thought I'd be so excited about standing before a judge in a foreign country. :)
