I love my family and can't wait to add another little one. My guys are amazing!! Something tells me it will be soon...and there will be one more face in the picture. Little kiddo, we're all getting ready for you.

We are a relatively normal family of four who love God, each other... and ice cream! We just finished the adoption of our youngest son from Kazakhstan and are busy living the roller-coaster ride of life with a teenager and a pre-schooler, but we are also praying that God will bless us with more. We aren't sure exactly what is in store for us next, but we have a feeling things will be a little crazy. But then again, if it wasn't, things would just be plain boring. Life is sweet!

Sep 12 - sent application in to adoption agency
Sep 21 - received agency acceptance
Oct 8 - first meeting with social worker for home study
Oct 12 - sent I-600A to USCIS
Oct 22 - 2nd visit with social worker
Nov 10 - home visit (final visit for home study)
Nov 12 - USCIS fingerprints done

Feb 23 - received final home study report!!

Apr 7 - FBI prints done for dossier
Apr 7 - sent home study to USCIS
Apr 7 - sent prints to FBI
Apr 29 - received I-171H!!
May 4 - received FBI clearance!!
Jun 23 - dossier through the MFA and heading to region
July 16 - received LOI!!!
July ?? - receive Visas
July 30 - leave for Semey, Kazakhstan
Aug 2 - arrive in Semey and start the bonding process
Aug 16 - bonding period complete - petition court
Aug 26 - court day - Nathan is ours!
Aug 29 - arrive back in the US - on the last day of Matt's visa
Sep 10 - last day of appeals period
Oct 11 - notified that we can go get Nathan!!!
Oct 18 - head back to Kazakhstan
